Crew's 4th Birthday

For Crew's birthday this year, he said he wanted a "pirate party" so that's what we did!  My mom was able to come down that weekend for it.

Ever since Caysja's birthday, Crew has been waiting and waiting for Caleb to make him a pinata too!  He wanted a "sword"(he is very into guns and swords lately).  Caleb did an AWESOME job and Crew loved it!!

Chalet's Blessing

We blessed Chalet December 2nd.  It was a special day, but there was a hole in my heart (and the blessing circle) where my dad should have been.  Maybe he was there...

November Events

One of my dearest friends from college, Katie Greenfield, got married in the Salt Lake Temple on Nov. 17th.  I was so honored to be one of her bridesmaids.
Katie and Eric make such a darling couple!

My family met me after Katie's sealing and we walked around the Salt Lake temple

For Thanksgiving this year we went to visit Caleb's brother, Darin and his wife Carrie, in Oregon.  We did lots of fun things together including visiting the coast, an aquarium, renting out a gymnastics center just for our family, playing with cousins, and of course Thanksgiving dinner.

Darin and Carrie built their beautiful home and the kid's favorite part was a trap door leading to secret hide-out.  Funny story...the cousins decided to sleep in the secret hideout the second night we were there.  Well, they left the trap door open because it was hot and stuffy.  I was a little worried that one of them would fall out in the night but they said that's never happened before.  Sure enough, around 2am we heard a big CRASH-- Caysja totally fell out!!  Good thing she didn't break anything!

On the way home we stopped and hiked up Multnomah Falls

 Thanksgiving Dinner
This was our first Thanksgiving without Dad.  What a hard day.  I missed him so much.
